OUR CONFERENCE
The South Dakota Conference is a place that inspires folk to be their authentic best selves while loving selflessly for the greater good. We as a conference strive for impartial equity and human dignity, recognizing the value of inclusion and relationship. We intentionally restore broken connections through opportunities of expressing hurt, making confessions and seeking forgiveness while offering resources of support on a consistent basis.
OUR DENOMINATION
The United Church of Christ (UCC) is a distinct and diverse community of Christians that come together as one church to join faith and action. With over 5,000 churches and nearly one million members across the U.S., the UCC serves God in the co-creation of a just and sustainable world. The UCC is a church of firsts, a church of extravagant welcome, and a church where “…they may all be one” (John 17:21).

We’ve been deeply encouraged by The Chosen and the conversations it has sparked among us. Watching the life of Jesus unfold through its storytelling has opened new doors for reflection, hope, and shared insight. As we gather to discuss each episode, we find ourselves drawn into richer questions, deeper compassion, and a renewed sense of wonder at the humanity and divinity of Christ. The show hasn’t just entertained us—it has helped us grow together in faith, curiosity, and community.
